The modernization of the facility aims to build a laboratory with enhanced air purity (Class C) and built to the standards required by GMP regulations. The laboratory will include a station for preparing radiopharmaceuticals for clinical trials. Constructing a facility compliant with GMP standards is a necessary requirement for obtaining approval from the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector for the preparation of radiopharmaceutical doses for clinical trials.
